Hi John,
In the past week, three Amazon warehouses have caught fire.
In one of them, Amazon told workers to get back to work right after the fire, regardless of heavy smoke and other hazards. Workers walked out, and Amazon quickly suspended 50 of them.
Last year, six workers died in an Amazon warehouse because Amazon forced them to keep working during a tornado, and the building collapsed on them.
Corporations value profit above all else, including human life, and only worker power will improve conditions.
That’s why I’m building America’s first national, independent strike fund. Please donate here to help us build worker power.
With your help, workers will be able to stay on strike for longer and force concessions from their bosses.
Thank you,
-Rebecca Parson Founder of Project Strikewave
