Last week, I hosted the Caribbean Day Reception for the fourth time with my good friend and colleague, Rep. Yvette Clarke, and we had such a blast!

It was a great time hosting the event in person again for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic. From highlighting all of the crucial work Congress has done in support of the Caribbean region, to celebrating Caribbean culture, I am as proud of and committed to our work uplifting Caribbean Americans as ever, and I think Yvette would agree. And it was so nice to honor and welcome a new member of the team, Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick!
