A reporter was just censored by and barred from reporting on Hill TV for setting the record straight on Israel’s blatant humanitarian abuses of Palestinians.1
Katie Halper, the now-former co-host of Hill TV’s morning show, “Rising” had prepared a segment to discuss the attacks on Rashida Tlaib for holding the Israeli government accountable. She quoted numerous humanitarian organizations that have described Israel’s actions as apartheid.2,3
The truth is rarely convenient. That’s what makes Halper’s reporting and Rashida’s advocacy so courageous. And it’s why we must continue to fight back against bad faith attacks on those who are willing to speak truth to power.
