Yesterday I had the privilege to participate in a forum hosted by the League of Women Voters and the City Clubs of Eugene and Springfield.

My MAGA Republican opponent, Alek Skarlatos also had his chance to make his case to voters.

Even though I went in knowing that Alek would try to play down his MAGA allegiances, I was still surprised by the brazenness of his routine, John.

Other than refusing to unequivocally say who won the 2020 presidential election, Alek worked hard to hide his extremist views. From health care, to immigration, to climate, Alek spent the entire debate downplaying his MAGA views and continuing his charade of pretending to be a moderate.

John, you and I know the real Alek Skarlatos - and we have to make sure that Oregon voters hear the truth about how dangerous his views are.
