The American Sustainable Business Network extends its congratulations to our Co-Board Chair, Valerie Red-Horse Mohl, on her appointment to the Treasury Department's Formal Advisory Committee on Racial Equity.

As US Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellow shared, "A critical piece of executing on our racial equity goals is bringing a wide set of outside perspectives and lived experiences to the decision-making table.” Secretary Yellow later shared that “the Treasury Advisory Committee on Racial Equity, made up of members with wide-ranging backgrounds and expertise, will provide important insight and advice to leadership across the department to bolster and inform our equity efforts."

Join us in applauding the Treasury Department on launching this important committee, and in congratulating Valerie and the rest of the committee members on their historic appointment and service. In addition to Valerie's role as Co-Board chair at ASBN, she is the Co-Founder of Known Holdings and CFO of the East Bay Community Foundation.
