Local 100G Takes Fight for a Contract to Company HQ

On October 6, BCTGM Local 100G members on strike at Ingredion in Cedar Rapids, Iowa traveled to the global headquarters of Ingredion in Westchester, Illinois to deliver a message: negotiate a fair contract NOW!

Organizing Danone Workers
|
Workers at the Danone plant in Salt Lake City, Utah voted to become members of BCTGM Local 401.
The BCTGM has organized workers at six Danone facilities in the United States within the last 20 years. In addition to this recent organizing win for Local 401 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the BCTGM represents Danone workers in Minster, Ohio (Local 19); West Jordan, Utah (Local 401); Dubois, Pennsylvania (Local 6); and Bridgton, New Jersey (Local 6). All of Danone’s facilities in the United States are now unionized.

Local 264 Welcomes Ukrainian Refugees to Canada

What does it mean to be part of a BCTGM Brother and Sisterhood? Local 264 (Toronto, Ontario) members can tell you. At Voortman’s Bakery in Burlington, Ontario, BCTGM Local 264 members warmly welcomed a small group of Ukrainian refugees who came to work at the bakery.
