I hope you and your family are enjoying the beginning of the fall season. It’s great to be back in North Carolina.  

This week in Washington, a bombshell report from the Washington Post revealed that federal prosecutors see enough evidence to charge the President’s son, Hunter Biden, with tax and gun crimes.

The DOJ began investigating Hunter’s taxes in 2018, and widened as Hunter’s laptop brought to light more misdeeds, including Hunter’s dealings with Burisma and payments for “the Big Guy.”  

Hunter Biden’s illegal and crooked dealings, all revealed on his laptop, were labeled by the Democrat-Media-Big Tech alliance as “Russian disinformation” to help Biden win. But as with so many recent stories, the truth is not what the media originally reported.  

The charges being discussed are just the tip of the iceberg. Hunter Biden is a crook, and everyone knows it. A thorough investigation into Hunter and Joe Biden’s dealings is long overdue. Next Congress, House Republicans must hold them accountable for their shady and corrupt business deals.  

Biden’s Energy Destruction 

Food prices. Gas prices. Home heating prices. They’re all on the rise this October. 

And the President’s response? He is begging dictators and relaxing sanctions on despotic governments for oil all while depleting America’s strategic reserves.

There is a simple solution that the President refuses to deploy: unleashing American energy. Under President Trump, America was energy independent. Under Biden, American officials are relying on Saudi Arabia, and now Venezuela, for oil.

Energy prices are set to skyrocket again as OPEC+ voted to cut production this week and Biden drains our oil reserves to the lowest level since 1984. For Biden’s energy sabotage, the pain is the point.   

This administration’s ill-advised war against domestic oil and gas production is coming back to haunt Biden. I sat down with Liz MacDonald on Fox Business to discuss this purposeful energy catastrophe.

The Weaponized FBI 

Biden’s Justice Department is ramping up its campaign against conservatives, especially pro-life activists. We have never seen the DOJ conduct politicized investigations and raids like this before. In addition to a number of recent raids and whistleblower reports, we’ve saw the Justice Department target peaceful pro-life protestors while turning a blind eye to violent leftists firebombing crisis pregnancy centers and desecrating churches.

It is far past time for a rigorous Congressional investigation to uncover the full depth of corruption in the DOJ and FBI and to restore law and order. One thing is clear, we need a creative, unrelenting oversight effort that should emulate the Church Committee that uncovered FBI and Intelligence Community misdeeds in the 1970s.

We Must Turn Down the Heat in Ukraine
