John, today is the end of the first week of October, and what a week it’s been!

FIRST: Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson made history with her first oral arguments since becoming the first Black woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court. Justice Jackson tore the far right’s absurd arguments to shreds in case after case.

NEXT: The race for Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate seat was downgraded from lean D to toss-up, proving how vital these last two weeks of voter registration are to truly expanding the Commonwealth’s electorate!

NOW: We’re hours away from the end of the first week of October, and we’re still $1,010 away from hitting our end-of-week goal.

John, making every goal between now and the election is crucial to expanding the Commonwealth’s electorate to include historically disenfranchised communities of color, immigrant communities and the youth in this final sprint. Will you chip in $10 right now to help us make that happen?

Unfortunately, all the brilliant arguments in the world won’t matter when our U.S. Supreme Court, with a majority of conservative justices, make up their mind far in advance, and decide cases to suit their far-right, radical agenda.

We must bring respectability, truth and justice back to the U.S. Supreme Court. That will only happen if we get the Commonwealth’s young, immigrant, Black, Indigenous, and other people of color registered before the deadline on the 24th, and also get out the vote on November 8th.

Coincidentally, it’s also the key to seeing a more representative democracy, by appointing and confirming more brilliant jurists like Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to our courts at every level.

John, representation matters, and your grassroots support means everything to our work to attain it. Will you help us make that change with a donation of $10 or whatever works for you? Every dollar counts, especially here and now. →

The New Pennsylvania Project
-------------------------------------------------------

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented immigrant and communities of color. We register communities to vote, provide civic education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize Pennsylvanians to vote in every election.
