We’re getting some gorgeous fall weather right now. The beautiful colors are one of my favorite parts of autumn in Minnesota, and I hope you’re enjoying them as much as I am. Here’s a lovely tree I passed by in Edina while doorknocking earlier this week!

Early Voting

Did you know you can cast your ballot TODAY in the general election by early voting? Early voting is open for our community’s convenience, and I strongly encourage voters to take advantage of the opportunity to vote early if they’ll be out of town for election day, want to avoid the lines, or for any other reason! Voting should be accessible and easy for all. Details are as follows:

Edina Residents:
City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St.
Weekdays Sept. 23-Nov 4: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 5: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 7: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Bloomington Residents:
Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road
Weekdays Sept. 23-Nov 4: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 5: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dean Phillips Endorsement
I’m proud to have the support of my good friend and colleague, Congressman Dean Phillips. Dean and I have worked together to make sure our district has a voice at both the Minnesota and the US Capitol, and I’m excited to continue our partnership. Four Weeks Left!
There is so much at stake this election – we can enact meaningful change to improve our district and our state. We need to work together to elect DFL candidates who have our best interests in mind, and especially need to fight for a pro-choice majority in the Minnesota House and Senate. In between my doorknocks in Edina and Bloomington, I’ve been out on the campaign trail for candidates in other competitive districts to help us secure a House Majority this November. The work before us in this next four-week push is hard, but it’s essential in making sure we elect leaders who have our democracy’s best interests in mind. This past weekend, my team and I made the trip out to Coon Rapids to knock on doors for Zack Stephenson.


Door Knock and Chili Cookoff This Saturday

I hope you will join us this Saturday from 10am-2pm for a joint DFL SD 50 and 51 Door Knock and Chili Cookoff! Come to meet other DFL candidates (including Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, Congressman Phillips), knock on some doors, and enjoy some great chili cooked by DFL elected officials and candidates. After trying the different chilis, everyone will vote for the winner of the cookoff (I’m hoping to take first place this year!). RSVP Here ([link removed]) .
