Julie is under attack by her opponent, which is no shock in an election like ours.

But what has us surprised is why he’s attacking Julie.

He’s blaming her for the daycare fraud that happened way back in 2017. There’s two big problems with this:

The legislative auditor, not the State Auditor’s office, was responsible for auditing the agency involved, the Department of Human Services.

More confusing is that the fraud was uncovered in 2017, more than a year before Julie won her first election.

An auditor who can’t keep these simple details straight is a huge danger to Minnesotans and the more than $60 billion of mostly local taxpayer funds that Julie’s office oversees.

Ryan Wilson said in a Minnesota Family Council survey that abortions should be banned after six weeks and said he opposes efforts "to ban voluntary biblical counseling in areas of gender and sexuality" (meaning he supports conversion therapy). We should be worried that he'll use the Auditor's office to push his MAGA Republican agenda.

The Auditor’s office isn’t some cakewalk job where a political crony has time to mess around.

Julie works tirelessly for the people of Minnesota, making sure that local taxpayer funds are protected and your freedom to make local decisions.
