John,
I wanted to say a big ‘Thank you’ again for all your support of my campaign so far. I am truly honored to have earned your support.
Because of your hard work and generosity, we are getting our message out on TV and social media. I’m working hard each day to bring the common-sense leadership I employed in Orland Park to Washington, DC.
But this race is far from over. My Democrat opponent Sean Casten is endorsed and funded by Nancy Pelosi and special interest groups across the country. In fact, Pelosi just sent her Assistant House Speaker, Katherine Clark in to campaign with Sean.
Casten has sponsored anti-police legislation, voted for massive spending bills and voted AGAINST a ban on Fentanyl. Like his leader, Nancy Pelosi, Sean Casten has used his position in Congress for financial gain. If re-elected, Casten will follow Pelosi off the cliff and continue pushing the dangerous agenda that has led to crisis after crisis in America!
With millions of dollars coming from Pelosi, Washington elites and powerful DC lobbies, Casten is extremely well funded.
So much is at stake in the next 30 days and it’s only going to get worse if the Democrats increase their power in Washington. That’s why I am asking you to go all in on this one.
Please consider investing in this race one more time to help ENSURE we have the resources needed to get our message to voters over the lies from Casten, Pelosi and the Democrat Machine.
Thank you,
Keith Pekau
Mayor of Orland Park
Republican Nominee for Illinois’ Sixth Congressional District

In Case You Missed It
Fox News, Pekau Editorial: Illinois police reform act will eliminate cash bail and make our streets less safe
With violent crime up across the nation, Chicago has become the picture of lawlessness: a haven for criminals and illegal activity. It is about to get worse. In January 2023, the Orwellian-named "SAFE-T Act" will go into effect. This legislation passed two years ago, and residents of Illinois are about to see the harsh realities of "police reform" packaged in a bill that eliminates cash bail almost entirely.
In the dark of night, the Illinois Legislature forced through one of the most anti-public safety bills in the country. The now infamous SAFE-T Act, which was authored and whipped by our attorney general and signed without amendment by our governor.
Recently, my comments about the bill went viral. The nation was rightly shocked to hear about the extreme measure that could have only passed in a state like Illinois where decades of one-party rule have bred contempt for transparency, constitutionality and moderation…

DuPage Policy Journal: Casten campaign ad violates FEC standards
The Casten Campaign has been forced to pull down their ad “Ready to Choose” for non-compliance.
The ad, which misrepresents Casten’s opponent Keith Pekau’s views on abortion, was also missing the required campaign disclosure, which would read “approved by Sean Casten.”
“No one is shocked that lobbyist-turned-Congressman Sean Casten is producing unethical ads,” said Pekau. “The ad itself is full of misinformation. Disclaimers are one of the most basic aspects of producing a campaign ad, and his campaign left it off. But then again, we are talking about a guy who uses his seat of power to enrich himself and his family, and took an illegal property tax break on his luxury DC Condo. Ethical behavior is not his strong suit.”

Mayoral Update
During this week’s mayoral update, I talked about the impact that inflation is having on our community and region as a whole. Families across Illinois are struggling to make ends meet and it's important that elected officials at every level of government take that into account when making decisions.

State’s Attorney Kate Watson and Sheriff Nathan Chaplin filed the suit at the Douglas County Courthouse on Tuesday, claiming the 764-page act contains “numerous constitutional violations.”

Politicians in Washington, DC like Sean Casten, and Nancy Pelosi have put special interests, party politics, and extreme agendas ahead of doing what’s best for the people they’re supposed to represent.
Keith Pekau is the common sense, local leader we need in Washington to take on the extreme politicians. His record of results stands in stark contrast to the failed, divisive politics and rigid ideology of Sean Casten.
Whether you choose to contribute, knock on doors, or host a yard sign on your front lawn, every little bit counts and helps my campaign inch closer to victory.
