Liz Truss' first month as Prime Minister has been a disaster.

Crashing the pound and investor confidence in our country. Handouts for
ultra-wealthy cronies while refusing to commit to manifesto promises of keeping
benefits in line with inflation. She can't even guarantee her government will
be able to keep the lights on this winter.

Liberal Democrats are fighting the Conservatives in seats across the United
Kingdom. It's more possible than ever that the next General Election will be
the end of this Government.

tax at a time when public services are on their knees. We need a Windfall Tax.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II


We were deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty last month. She was an
ever-fixed mark in our lives, our constant as politicians came and went and the
world changed around us. Our thoughts are with King Charles and the Royal
Family.
