district.
Welcome to the Fifth Congressional District, full of solid grassroots
conservatives who believe America is the greatest nation on earth and are not
afraid to stand up for their values.

These are honest, hard-working people who are dedicated to the idea of leaving
this country better than they found it for their children and grandchildren.
That is why most of the people in my district are so upset with what is
happening in Washington! They are disgusted that the radical left continues
signing bills into law which undermine our nation and roll back the successes
we achieved under President Trump’s America First agenda.
We hold the POWER to ensure Republicans flip the House and put an end to the
Democrats’ failed socialist agenda — from the chaos at the Southern Border to
the spike in inflation. Ending this could depend on the often overlooked but
still critical races in North Carolina like mine in the 5th District.
I am not emailing you to ask for money; I am simply ensuring you have the
latest information about what's at stake.
As you may know, the courts have been meddling with the North Carolina
congressional district boundaries. Year-after-year they have tossed out
congressional maps and trampled the constitutional process followed by North
Carolina legislators. As a result, this year’s new district lines mean
thousands of voters don’t know who the conservative candidates are and why they
are running.

Friend,
I wanted to take a few minutes to reintroduce myself and share why I am
running for Congress.
I grew up in a rural mountain town in North Carolina, where I learned the
hard-working values I live by today. As a little girl my house did not have
running water or electricity. To others, this might seem impossible, but to me,
it was just our realityThese difficult experiences taught me incredibly
valuable lessons that guided me throughout my life.
If the lack of running water and electricity didn’t stop me, neither will a
bunch of clueless socialists.
Even when the going got tough, I never backed down. I was the first person in
my family to graduate from high school and college, and I worked hard to start
my own small business. My experiences affirmed again that AmericaAmerica is the
land of opportunity.
I was no longer just Virginia Foxx, the girl who grew up in poverty; I was:
* Virginia Foxx, the young woman who OVERCAME childhood poverty
* Virginia Foxx, the first in her family to GRADUATE from high school and
college
* Virginia Foxx, the entrepreneur who STARTED her own small business
* AND NOW, I AM Congresswoman Virginia Foxx, the CONSERVATIVE fighting for YOU
The radical leftists who are currently in charge believe America is the land
of oppression. I know from personal experience thatTHIS IS NONSENSE AND MUST BE
STOPPED!
As a young girl, I had two choices:
1. Continue living in poverty
OR
2. Make something of myself
As an American, you also have two choices:
1.Vote for Republicans like me who believe in America’s tradition of limited
government, low taxes, and individual rights!
OR
2. Continue living under failed Democratic control that is greedy for more
power and bent on destroying what makes us great!
I can’t force you to choose the ONLY correct answer, but I will say this: I
paved the way for myself to live the life I wanted, and nowYOU have the
opportunity to pave the way for America to be the land of opportunity,AGAIN!
Together, we will fight to keep the American Dream alive.
