Despite their shameless attempts to convince Minnesotans otherwise, Republicans have been 100% clear: If they retake power in November, they will enact a statewide abortion ban as quickly as they can. Consider the facts: 

- GOP gubernatorial candidate Scott Jensen pledged to ban abortions with no exceptions. 

- GOP Attorney General candidate Jim Schultz held a leadership position with an anti-choice organization that has a stated goal of making abortion “not just illegal, but unthinkable.” 

- Minnesota Republican legislators introduced a Texas-style abortion ban on the very first day of this year’s legislative session.

With less than five weeks to go, our entire team is fighting like hell to keep Minnesota pro-choice, but it’s clear we still need to do more. Another round of KSTP/SurveyUSA polling released this week confirms races up and down the ballot are still tightening.

We put together an awesome plan to accelerate our Get Out The Vote program for the home stretch, but according to our fundraising team, we still need to raise $18,731 by midnight to fund it.
