While traveling through Illinois on the campaign trail and meeting with proud
Illinoisans, people continually ask, “Kathy, what made you want to throw your
hat in the ring for the U.S. Senate?”

As a public defender, private business owner, and most importantly, a mother
and grandmother, I have dedicated much of my life to serving others. But my
work isn’t done yet. I know there’s more to be done for Illinois to fix what
the Far Left have destroyed. Are you with me?

I’ve been proud to call Illinois home my whole life, but the state I grew up
in is very different from the one I live in today.And it worries me, John.

Our heroes in uniform have been smeared, local businesses have been forced to
shut their doors for good, our streets have been taken over by criminals,
parents have been kicked out of their children's education, and our elected
officials are working on behalf ofthemselves.



Before I became a candidate, I had to ask myself if I was ready to take on
Tammy Duckworth, no matter what it took because Tammy is one of the
mega-liberals who are actively working AGAINST US, John, not for us.But I know
with your support, we can defeat Duckworth and tap into Illinois’ full
potential.
