Team, I always say the race for Congress is the toughest one I’ve ever run.

Don’t get me wrong: training for my last marathon was a long, hard process, and running it wasn’t any easier. At a certain point, you’ve almost run out of steam – but you know the finish line isn’t far away, so you push forward and keep moving.

That’s what October of an election year is like. This campaign has jumped plenty of hurdles in the past year: redistricting, a tough primary, Republican spending, attacks from my opponent and far-right special interests.

Now we’re in the home stretch before November. I know you’re busy, and that our emails can sometimes get buried in your inbox. I get it.

But if I'm going to cross the finish line and leave my radical, far-right opponent in the dust, I first need you to be all in with me.
