This year’s International Day of the Girl [[link removed]] theme is: “ Our time is now—our rights, our future. ” We’re commemorating this day by hosting Monica Nyiraguhabwa, Founder and Executive Director of Girl Up Initiative Uganda [[link removed]] .
Monica will discuss the work her organization is doing to support the autonomy of girls through educational opportunities, economic empowerment, and youth engagement initiatives in Kampala, Uganda. Girl Up is dedicated to uplifting youth—particularly young women and girls.
