Rep. Raskin served as the lead impeachment manager in Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial to hold the former president accountable for incitement of insurrection and his role in the mob attack on the Capitol.
As a member of the January 6 Select Committee, Rep. Raskin continued his work in holding truth to power when it came to the day's events. He played a pivotal role in bringing light to the horrors of what happened on January 6.
As Rep. Raskin said to the Select Committee, “We need to defend both our democracy and our freedom with everything we have and declare that this American carnage ends here and now. In a world of resurgent authoritarianism and racism and antisemitism, let’s all hang tough for American democracy."
