I really enjoy getting to connect on a personal level with the community! I often get asked the question: “Why do you want to serve – or continue serving - in the office you seek?” My background makes me qualified for this position. I have experienced difficult business and negotiating settings around the world. I am also from a 4th generation farming family, and it is in my blood. My background in tech makes me keenly aware of the importance of PNNL and Hanford’s contribution to our economy. Being raised in a union household gives me a clear understanding of the importance of having skilled labor that is well paid and provided for to do the best job.
Weekends of Action in Yakima and Tri-Cities were a success. I appreciated everyone who came and did canvassing, phone banking, phone texting, and more with us. Our team is working hard every day, reaching out to ensure your voice and opinions are heard. I received questions and concerns from many of you asking about different matters/issues in the District all the time. I stand by my vision and always want to improve a better living place for us all. It seems that Newhouse believes spending our tax dollars on infrastructure, energy independence, and bringing jobs back to this country is destroying our economy! What would you spend it on? We know you will spend it all, so why not on us? My answer is always clear: I believe I have the right mindset to make changes and the right skills to deliver. I make sure that your trust and support will not be placed on the wrong person. I hope I have your vote.
We hope you'll join us, along with Washington Democrats, passionate volunteers, dirt road Democrats, and congressional candidates Marie Perez and Natasha Hil this Sunday 5pm to 8pm to turn out rural Democrats all across the state! We know we have supporters in every county, and we want them to know their vote matters. We'll be calling from Whitman to Whatcom, Stevens to Skamania, all the presidents -- Grant, Lincoln, Jefferson -- and everywhere in between! Let's get out of that RURAL DEMOCRATIC vote with just one month to go until Election Day!
