John,

Fossil fuel corporations, agribusiness giants, and water privatizers are spending millions backing candidates who put profit before communities and the planet. Their goal: Use corporate money to spread misinformation to influence the election.

But we’re not going to let them. Food & Water Action is fighting back. You can join us, John. Become a monthly giving partner and your first month’s gift to Food & Water Action will be matched $2-to-$1.

We’re working to keep the climate deniers, fossil fuel puppets, and corporate authoritarians from taking more seats in Congress. When Food & Water Action endorses a candidate it means they are committed to fighting for our shared vision of clean water, trustworthy food, and a livable climate.

We’re excited to support eight candidates in the November midterm election. Listed below are just a few:

Summer Lee, Pennsylvania Congressional District 12 is on course to become one of the few anti-fracking federal lawmakers representing a district with active fracking wells.

Jaamal Bowman, New York Congressional District 16 is aiming to change the way Washington works so it truly addresses the needs of marginalized communities like his own.

Maxwell Alejandro Frost, Florida Congressional District 10 is prepared to crack down on corporations that jeopardize his community’s right to clean water, air and healthy food.

Jamie McLeod-Skinner, Oregon Congressional District 5 is championing policies that put climate, justice, and families first.

This is our now-or-never moment to elect climate champions. We believe in people power, and that’s why we have spent years building at the grassroots level. We can’t let the next Congress sit on their hands as climate chaos sweeps the planet.

We will use our grassroots infrastructure to elect progressive Democrats in battleground Congressional districts. Donate today to elect climate champions — your first monthly gift will be matched $2-to-$1.
