President Joe Biden issued an executive order pardoning all prior federal offenses of simple marijuana possession.

The order will pardon more than 6,500 individuals convicted of the offense and thousands more through pardons under D.C. law.

Biden asked the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Attorney General to “expeditiously” review the classification of marijuana under federal drug laws.

Biden: 'I Promise' to Codify Roe if Two More Democrats Elected to Senate

President Joe Biden promised to sign legislation codifying the right to an abortion if two more Democrats are elected to the U.S. Senate in November’s midterm elections. 

Biden implored people to vote on November 8, reiterating what's at stake for reproductive rights this election, from abortion bans to restrictions on birth control.
