How would you feel if someone told you you are not allowed to come to work just because you behaved in accordance with your religious belief? This is exactly what happened to Irish teacher Enoch Burke, it is exactly what is happening to more and more people in the West. Tomorrow it could happen to anyone.

In May, the school's director where Enoch Burke worked as a teacher told him that he should address a transgender student by a new name and with the pronoun “they”. Mr Burke refused and claimed several times against the madness of recognizing an ideological imposition like "gender" as a reality. In response, he was suspended pending the outcome of a disciplinary meeting in September. As he refused to accept the unjust punishment, he was eventually arrested at the school and jailed for contempt of court. Our hearts break for Enoch's family. Enoch is a Christian devout, one of ten siblings from a deeply religious evangelical family, a human whose freedom of conscience has been trampled on. He is in jail because of laws that force citizens to accept transgenderism. Enoch Burke is correct when he says: “Transgenderism is against my Christian belief. It is contrary to the scriptures, contrary to the ethos of the Church of Ireland and of my school.” What he hasn’t said, is that it also goes against good science and medicine.

- As I am writing this, another similar case has appeared in the headlines, demonstrating the witch hunt transgenderism is causing: Kevin Lister a 59 year-old maths teacher in a Swindon School, has been sacked after refusing to affirm a pupil’s gender change.
All of them are victims in a society that prohibits Christians from expressing their opinions, if they are contrary to the ideological LGBT, transgender, and the radical Left’s mainstream. You and me may also be victims in any country, at any time, since the transgender insanity is quickly spreading around. So it’s time to stand up for freedom of conscience before we all are forced to get down our knees in the name of the new “religion” of gender ideology and transgenderism.

Now, Enoch’s family are set out to demand justice. And there will be many more attacks on them, especially from the media that is already trying to headline them as some sort of crazy, religious people that are just making trouble. And all this is happening as the Irish Minister for Justice, Helen McEntee, is preparing an updated hate-speech bill to be brought to the legislature, “to make it easier to secure prosecutions and convictions for crimes motivated by hate”. If we don't stand up for Enoch's freedom, the transgender ideology will continue dehumanizing society and terrorizing Christians in Ireland, the U.S. and everywhere.
