If you haven't heard, the Quad Cities have become ground zero in our effort to keep the House blue.
Here in IL-17, I'm running in a pure tossup race to keep our district from falling into Republican hands -- effectively handing them House control. And just north of the river in Iowa, my good friend Christina Bohannan is running a homegrown, grassroots effort to flip a long-time GOP stronghold.
I had the chance to meet Christina, and it's clear she cares just as deeply about the people of her community as I do. Her campaign is surging, and we both realized we have an historic opportunity to paint the Quad Cities blue, so we agreed to team up and help each other out. We’re neighbors, and while we’re strong on our own, I think we are much more powerful working together!
