Right now, Congress is working on another critical piece of legislation – The Electoral Count Reform Act.

This law would make clear that the Vice President’s role in certifying a Presidential Election is strictly ceremonial, which will help protect against the kind of effort to overturn the election we saw on January 6th.

Colin has been one of the leading voices in the House pushing to pass legislation to reform the Electoral Count Act, helping us avoid another situation where the fate of American democracy is riding on a Vice President’s decision to do the right thing.
