Control of the House majority could come down to what happens here in Washington State – and with it, the future of our democracy, abortion rights, and so much more.

In Washington's 3rd District, Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez is facing MAGA extremist Joe Kent. Kent has sided with white nationalists, supports a national abortion ban, and promoted Trump's "Big Lie" about the 2020 election. The New York Times is saying her race“will show us what kind of House we’re going to have come 2023: one that is capable of legislating, or one that makes the Tea Party look tame.”

And in Washington's 8th District, Kim is facing another MAGA extremist, Matt Larkin. Like Kent, Larkin wants to ban abortion, has nationally, praised Marjorie Taylor Greene, and refused to say whether Joe Biden's victory in 2020 was legitimate.

Marie and Kim both have tough fights ahead of them. Election experts are calling Kim's race a "toss-up" and said Marie's race has recently become even more competitive.
