Schools and Students Would Be Better Off With More Bibles in the Classroom
By: Jim Daly
As an orphaned teenager growing up in Southern California, my world was rocked by loss and loneliness. If not for a high school football coach who shared the Bible with me, I do not think I would have made it. It gave me something to hang on to, and it changed my life for the better — forever.
It's experiences like this that led me and my organization to start "Bring Your Bible to School Day" — an annual event designed to encourage students to celebrate their religious freedom by bringing God's sacred Word with them on the first Thursday in October. Over the years, we've heard from countless children whose bold expression of faith has helped encourage others — and even instigated respectful and productive conversations with curious non-Christians.

No Drug Aaron Judge, His Birthmother, Adoption and His Loving Family All Deserve Credit
By: Paul Batura
New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge’s 62nd home run on Tuesday night in Arlington, Texas, sets a new American League record for most dingers in a season – and makes a solid case for why the beloved slugger should be credited with the all-time long-ball distinction.
Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa all hit more in a season – but all three of those players allegedly used performance enhancing drugs.
Roger Maris Jr., son of Roger Maris, the Yankee who previously held the single season American League record of 61 home runs in 1961, called Judge the “new CLEAN HOME RUN KING!”
Despite their record-setting statistics, all three of the steroid-era users have been deprived election into the Baseball Hall of Fame – a clear indication the baseball writers who vote agree with Maris’ assessment.
Cheating has always been a sad shortcut to supposed success, but cheaters soon realize tainted success is really no victory at all. Could Bonds, McGuire and Sosa have accomplished the same without the drugs? Maybe – but we’ll never know. That’s one of the many tragic consequences of cheating. Many people forget Richard Nixon didn’t need any help in the 1972 presidential election, which he won in a landslide. But he was forced to resign two years later after being tied to the Watergate break-in, which was all about collecting “dirt” on his political opponents.

Don’t Buy the Media’s Sudden Concern About the Supreme Court’s ‘Legitimacy’
By: Bruce Hausknecht
“Supreme Court, dogged by questions of legitimacy, is ready to resume,” The Washington Post headline blares.
“The Supreme Court Seems Awfully Nervous About Its Own Legitimacy,” The New York Times helpfully exclaims.
Not to be outdone, CNN jumps in with, “The Supreme Court is fighting over its own legitimacy.”
And there are approximately 8 million more references to “Supreme Court” and “legitimacy” according to Google.
That sure sounds serious. What in the world is going on?
It’s the start of the new term for the U.S. Supreme Court and there are plenty of interesting cases that will be argued and decided, including 303 Creative, LLC v. Elenis, which involves a Christian graphic artist and website designer fighting for her religious and free speech right to choose which weddings she wants to promote with her business.
And the media, which equated the June Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade with the end of human rights as we know them, are suddenly posting poll results that show people have the lowest opinion of the high court since such polls originated.
As a concerned Christian, should you be worried?

March for Life Adds State Marches to Its Schedule – Ohio’s Was This Wednesday
By: Jeff Johnston
When the U.S. Supreme Court invented a spurious constitutional “right to abortion” in its Roe v. Wade decision in January 1973, the court invalidated a multitude of state laws and legalized abortion on demand throughout the United States.
In October of that year, 30 pro-life leaders met to discuss how to respond, and Nellie Gray founded and led the first national March for Life in January 1974, in Washington, D.C., with an estimated 20,000 participants.
The rally and march became an annual event, growing to have hundreds of thousands of participants from across the country – millions of people over the years showing their support for pre-born babies.
With the Supreme Court overturning Roe, state laws regulating and limiting abortion are more important than ever. March for Life, the group that organizes the event, will still hold a national rally in 2023, but they’re also hosting statewide marches.
The Ohio March for Life is the next event, scheduled for Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the Ohio State Capitol Square, in Columbus. A Pre-Rally Concert, with Damascus Worship, begins at 10:00 a.m., the Rally starts at 11:00, and the March starts at noon.
Even though Roe was struck down by the court, the battle for life still continues, so it’s important for pro-lifers to keep rallying and working.

High School Girls Investigated After Asking ‘Trans’ Male Student to Leave Female Locker Room
By: Zachary Mettler
Two high school girls in Vermont are being investigated for “harassment” after doing the unthinkable: asking a biologically male student who identifies as “trans” to leave the girls’ locker room.
According to a recent story from the Daily Signal, several girls at Randolph Union High School in Randolph, Vermont were using the female locker room at school, getting dressed for a volleyball game when the biologically male student who identifies as “trans” entered the locker room.
The girls were partially undressed, one not wearing a shirt, when the male student entered. “Please don’t come in here, we’re still changing,” one girl said to the male.
As the Daily Signal reports, “The trans-identifying student allegedly told her that it was fine, entered the locker room, and stood in the corner ‘watching’ as the other girls finished dressing. Female student A said that the interaction made her incredibly uncomfortable.”
Reporters for the Daily Signal asked the female student why she told the male student not to enter the locker room.
“It’s a dude,” she replied.
According to female student B, “when she and her fellow teammates tried to bring the matter to school officials, she said, they were told that they had to comply with state law.”
