A few weeks ago, I introduced the “Protecting Reproductive Freedom Act.” This legislation protects a woman’s right to abortion medication and prevents states from passing further draconian laws to ban these FDA-approved medicines.

In addition to protections for reproductive health, this bill would also require a regular report to Congress on additional ways to protect this vital health care.

For me, protecting abortion access wasn’t just some campaign talking point – it was a promise I am proud to have kept after less than a month in Congress.

Reproductive health decisions and abortion rights are all about freedom. I didn’t fight overseas for our freedoms to see them taken away by out-of-touch, extremist lawmakers.

I am personally asking you to sign on and endorse my bill to protect and expand reproductive health care access. This type of legislation is crucial — especially at a time when so many lawmakers are trying to take away these rights. It’s important to me to make sure folks like you support it alongside me.
