Oswego families can stop by Venue 1012 to pick up a free pumpkin on Sunday, October 16 from noon to 3 p.m. Children (and adults) are encouraged to come in costume.
Venue 1012 will have a variety of autumnal displays set up for photo opportunities.
First come, first served. Limited to one pumpkin per child. 500 pumpkins will be distributed until 3 p.m. or until they run out. Oswego residents only--proof of residency required.

Girl bands Jersey Girls and Serendipity will perform at the new event to help raise awareness and benefit organizations that provide breast cancer services and support.

The Police Department and First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) will host a free shred event on Saturday, October 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Public Works facility, 100 Theodore Drive.
Boxes of paper will be accepted until the shred trucks are full, or 1 p.m., whichever comes first. A maximum of three large file boxes are allowed per vehicle.
