WBRC: Alabama child poverty rate lowest in state history

Pandemic EBT and other federal relief policies kept millions of Americans out of poverty last year. “We need to make the Child Tax Credit [expansion] permanent, and we need to do it as quickly as we can,” Arise’s Carol Gundlach tells WBRC Fox 6 News in Birmingham.
