Rhode Island’s late primary means that we have to pack an entire months-long general election campaign into a few short weeks (four and a half more weeks, to be exact).

In a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a contribution to re-elect Governor McKee, but first, I want to give you an honest campaign update:

• Our Republican opponent recently moved to Rhode Island because she thinks her personal wealth can buy power in our state.
• She hasn’t released any real plans and refuses to answer basic questions about her policy positions.
• She would veto any budget that includes reproductive health protections for low-income Rhode Islanders.
• She considers Ron DeSantis her political mentor, and Rhode Islanders can expect that she would follow in his extremist footsteps.
• She’s using her family’s personal millions to outspend our campaign, flooding the airwaves with misleading attack ads.

That’s why the Governor needs YOUR help ahead of Monday’s public fundraising deadline.

Our FIRST public filing deadline of the general election is Monday at midnight. This is the first time our fundraising numbers will be publicly released since the primary and the first time our numbers will be directly compared with the Republican’s numbers.

With less than a month until Election Day, there’s no room for error. We can’t afford to come up short, and we can’t allow Democrats to get complacent about this race. Can Governor McKee count on you to chip in $25, $50, $100, or $250 today?
