Our last public fundraising deadline of the election is on Monday, October 24. Here’s why it’s so important that you mark it in your calendar:

- After we file our report, our year-to-date fundraising numbers will be made public for the LAST TIME before election day.

- Every political journalist and pundit alive will be waiting to dig through our filing to gauge our strength heading into the final days of the campaign.

My Republican opponent outraised us during the last reporting period. So all eyes will be on us, and one of two stories will be written.

We either reach our $175,000 grassroots public deadline goal and prove that we have the momentum to win. Or, we come up short and look like sitting ducks, which could trigger a final, devastating wave of GOP spending against us.

The bottom line? This is a make-or-break moment, and one week into October, it’s clear we need to pick up the pace if we’re going to reach our target by the 24th.
