In November 2022, World BEYOND War will be holding an exciting weekly discussion each of four weeks of The Crown of Light with the author Rivera Sun. Exploring peace literature and the role of fiction in inspiring real-world change, this intimate
WBW book club is limited to 18 participants. Rivera will send each
participant a signed paperback or ebook (according to your preferences).
We'll let you know which parts of the book will be discussed each week
along with the Zoom details to access the discussions. Fun, inspiring,
and full of connections to courageous peace work being done worldwide.
When: For one hour on four Thursdays, November 3,
10, 17, 24, 2022. The time is 20:00 UTC (similar to GMT), 10 am in
Honolulu, 1 pm in Los Angeles, 2 pm in Mexico City, 4 pm in New York, 8
pm in London, 11 pm in Moscow, and Friday at 9 a.m. in Aukland.

About the Author:
Rivera Sun is a change-maker, a cultural creative, a protest
novelist, and an advocate for nonviolence and social justice. She is the
author of The Dandelion Insurrection, The Way Between and other novels. She is the editor of Nonviolence News.
Her study guide to making change with nonviolent action is used by
activist groups across the country. Her essays and writings are
syndicated by Peace Voice, and have appeared in journals nationwide.
Rivera Sun attended the James Lawson Institute in 2014 and facilitates
workshops in strategy for nonviolent change across the country and
internationally. Between 2012-2017, she co-hosted nationally two
syndicated radio programs on civil resistance strategies and campaigns.
Rivera was the social media director and programs coordinator for
Campaign Nonviolence. In all of her work, she connects the dots between
the issues, shares solutionary ideas, and inspires people to step up to
the challenge of being a part of the story of change in our times. She
is a member of World BEYOND War's Advisory Board.
