This holiday season we have so much to celebrate. From the very first Congressional hearings on marijuana-specific legislation, to the first legalization by a state legislative body of a regulated adult-use market, from decriminalized possession in over half of the US, to the filing of an unprecedented number of local, state, and federal bills to reform marijuana laws, it’s your dedication to ending America’s failed policy of prohibition that made these victories possible.
In 2020, we’re looking forward to even more progress. NORML will celebrate 50 years of working to reform marijuana laws. When we first started, only 12% of the American public supported legalizing marijuana, and now, a super-majority stands with us on the right side of history. Together, we’ll elect representatives that favor reform, call for the passage of common sense legislation, and demand Congress take action.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come, yet we still have so much more work to do. Please help us prepare for 2020 and stand with NORML in the fight to legalize America.
