Hi friend,
Caused by the climate crisis, Pakistan's devastating floods have left a third of the country underwater and displaced 33 million people.
But this year alone, the country will make US$18 billion in debt payments to foreign lenders.

The debt crisis is draining funds from lower income countries, just when they need it most.
Right now, we have a huge opportunity to join together with campaigners around the world and call on world leaders to cancel debts and make sure countries have the funds to fight the climate crisis.
Next week, G20 Finance Ministers are meeting in Washington, together with the World Bank and IMF, the organisations which hold the purse strings for countries in debt.
From Kampala to Lahore and Washington to Lima, thousands of people will be joining our campaign for debt cancellation all over the world. Can you add your voice?
