So, the president has issued a Get Out of Jail free card to all those convicted of weed possession under federal law.

I do not know what is more stunning about this news?  The presidential pardon power is absolute and constitutional, but I cannot imagine the Founder’s intended that power to be a policy instrument and that’s what is happening here.  But as stunning as the sheer overreach is, it may be more stunning how obvious a political stunt this is.  The student loan forgiveness was a complete backfire, so they decide to try something even more egregious.  This is a stunt of proportions that...
