Dear Angels & Supporters, As you engage in your various holiday celebrations, I want you to take a moment to reflect on the impact you have made on the lives of complete strangers for the holiday season. Perhaps as you gather with your friends and family, you should even consider taking a moment to brag to them about your incredible contributions— because let me tell you, you all deserve a pat on the back for your remarkable generosity! Across the country and around the world, service members and veterans have received holiday stockings filled with your love and gratitude— some of them may be receiving and opening those stockings at this very moment! We were truly overwhelmed by the support we received for our stocking campaign this year! And believe it or not, we had several thousand more requests to donate stockings well after we reached our capacity to distribute! We could not be more grateful for the outpouring of love and support for our heroes in uniform. Thanks to you, we received 21,151 stuffed holiday stockings that have helped to spread the holiday spirit to combat deployed service members, hospitalized veterans, and national guard units. Thanks to you, this 102-year-old female veteran at the VA Hospital in Detroit, Michigan (along with thousands of hospitalized veterans across the country) will know she is remembered this holiday season. Thanks to you, service members deployed to combat zones around the world are receiving boxes just like this one that are filled with a stocking, candy, treats, and other comfort items. Most of them don't even know the packages are coming and are very excited when they arrive. We got this message from a grateful military mom: "Hi all, my deployed soldier received a big package from Soldiers' Angels and I am so happy for that! I don’t know how you got my son’s information but God bless all the people that make my son feel happy when he is far away from home this holiday season." - Vivi This is just the beginning of all the heartwarming stories we are sure to receive this holiday season. Many of the holiday celebrations are taking place at military installations and VA Hospitals as we speak and we are excited to share those photos and stories with you over the coming weeks. Please be sure to follow our Facebook page here to see all the photos and stories as they arrive. From our families to yours, may your Holiday season be merry and bright! We look forward to sharing more stories and smiles with you in 2020. Happy Holidays, Amy Palmer, Soldiers' Angels President & CEO
