We just left the Lancaster County Attorney forum stage not long ago and I want to thank you for all of your support. There were a lot of great questions and we had great turnout.
I will admit, I was floored when my opponent stated in front of a hundred or so voters that he would enforce the law if the federal constitutional protection of gay marriage was overturned and Nebraska's constitutional ban then became effective again.
I will not prosecute gay couples for being married.
That's the difference, your vote matters.
Prosecuting loving couples simply for being married does not promote public safety. It makes people live in fear. It's time to elect a county attorney whose number one priority is public safety. I hope to earn and have your support.
