Hi Friend,

As a former high school and collegiate female athlete, the locker room was a private space for me and my teammates. It’s where we would mentally prepare, fully undress, and gear up or shower, and it’s where all female athletes should feel comfortable and safe. Unfortunately, that is not the case for a girls’ volleyball team in Vermont.

After raising concerns about a male athlete with intact male genitalia who identifies as female using the women’s locker room, the entire girls’ volleyball team was banned from using the school's women's locker room altogether — as a punishment. According to members of the team, the biological male athlete has made inappropriate comments while the girls got undressed: “my male instincts are kicking in.”

The position of the school is clear: the requests and desires of male-bodied athletes identifying as female are more important than those female athletes.
PROTECT WOMEN'S SPORTS
This is all so backwards. Male athletes have NO place in female competitions and definitely not in female locker rooms. It’s common-sense and fair. This story is just one of the many reasons why we MUST save women’s sports and protect our female athletes.
PROTECT WOMEN'S SPORTS
The Left likes to push the narrative that these stories aren’t happening or that they are few and far between. That is also not true, and we need your help to prove them wrong.
