Before I even became your nominee, the National Republicans were attacking me. I was the first challenger in the country the NRSC ran ads against, and my opponent’s super PAC allies are pumping nearly $50 million into this race.

It’s ridiculous, John. Not just the attacks, but the fact that billionaires and corporate special interests are legally allowed to spend limitless sums to try to buy an election like this.

Look, their super PACs can spend millions on false attack ads against me, like they’ve already done. But I refuse to back down because this seat and our next Senator’s vote should not be for sale.

My opponent Ted Budd thinks he can just let special interests buy this seat for him, and in return, he’ll continue doing exactly what he’s done in Congress — voting to keep the system rigged in favor of billionaires and corporations. He will fight for a future where abortion is banned in every state and where marriage equality is overturned.
