John, we wanted to make sure you saw this critical email we sent out about the brutal killings of Jayland Walker and Donovan Lewis in Ohio.
Both men were unarmed, yet murdered in horrific ways by the police. We are putting this back on top of your inbox because little to NOTHING has been done to hold the officers who shot Jayland and Donovan accountable.
We can’t let this get pushed under the rug. Read the email below to get more details, then sign the petition and share it with your networks.
In solidarity,
Real Justice

Subject: Justice for Jayland Walker and Donovan Lewis
John, if you’re a member of our partner organization Grassroots Law Project, you’ll know about the devastating police killings of Jayland Walker and Donovan Lewis in Ohio.
Jayland was shot over 40 times by an entire firing squad of police officers in Akron and Donovan was shot by police while laying on his bed during a 2am raid of his apartment in Columbus. Both were unarmed when they were killed.
The Ohio Attorney General's Bureau of Criminal Investigation is currently investigating the police officers who murdered Jayland and Donovan.
So far in these cases there has been little to NO accountability. The officers who murdered Jayland haven’t even been named and none of the officers have been charged.
Cases like these are why Real Justice works everyday to elect the kind of strong, fearless District Attorneys who WILL hold police accountable, because if we had bold DAs in Akron and Columbus, then these cops would be charged and we wouldn’t even need to have this conversation.
But right now, we need to use the people-power that has helped us elect dozens of pro-civil rights DAs to pressure the Ohio AG to make sure that these officers don't get away with murder.
Your support has helped us elect DAs who work to stop police violence in big cities across the country and defend their work. Now we need you to take action to make sure that police Akron and Columbus don’t get away with murder.
Thank you,
Real Justice
