Friend,

Last Thursday, a 7-year-old Palestinian boy died in his home due to a heart attack. According to his family, Rian Suleiman feared for his life as Israeli soldiers chased him while invading his home.

Rian Suleiman is the 40th Palestinian child who died this year at the hands of the Israeli military.

With the US supplying the Israeli military with $3.8 billion in funding, the death of these children is happening on the American tax dollar. It can be stopped if members of the US Congress cut off this funding. In her response to the death of Rian, Representative Rashida Talib, the first Palestinian member of congress, stated: “Don't look away. $3.8 billion+ of our money is funding this. Enough. It must stop.”

But where is the rest of the House Progressive Cacus?

As we have emailed you about before, during the last election cycle, Stars and Stripes Forever (a TrumpRepublican super PAC) spent $9,000 on negative mailers calling Talib “anti-American” and saying her goal is to “undermine American society.” AIPAC also spent $663,000 on Facebook ads attacking Talib and other progressives.

With her being a single voice in Congress, these attacks will only worsen. If we want the Apartheid state to be defunded, we must support Representative Talib and send more champions for Palestine to Congress.

Can we count on you to pitch in whatever you can to help us fight for a Pro-Palestine Progressive movement in Congress?

40 children have been killed by the Israeli military this year alone. We need your help to support Anti-Apartheid Democrats in their efforts to stop Israel’s bloodlust
