Ken Calvert just dropped a new TV ad in our race.
To no one's surprise, it’s an attack ad against Will. So, if you live in the 41st District, you might be seeing some unflattering images of Will being labeled as “CRAZY.”
Not exactly an accurate depiction, is it?
These ads are completely misleading and, frankly, a little petty.
“Crazy”… seriously? It’s telling that Calvert won’t face Will in a debate but has no issue lobbing attacks on the airwaves. 🙄
This is a classic move out of the GOP playbook. Calvert is sinking in the polls and losing grip, so he’s resorting to Fox News-style attacks to stoke far-right hysteria and outrage.
Believe it or not, we'd chalk these attacks up as a positive development:
For starters, it proves Calvert is worried about our growing momentum. Second, these attacks -- just one month from the election-- read like a last-minute panic buy from a worried incumbent!
The good news is we are running TV ads of our own to make sure voters hear the truth. We can completely nullify these attacks, but doing that means we need to bring in another $12,000 before the end of this week. Can you rush in $3 to help counter these attacks?
