Donations dramatically slowed last week as Val Demings put her campaign on hold to respond to the ongoing emergency in Florida. We pulled down most of our ads and paused a lot of fundraising, rightfully so, as Val Demings focused on helping as many Floridians as she could.

But now, our grassroots fundraising team is rapidly running out of funds – and at this rate, Val Demings won't be able to take the lead in this race unless she raises $500,000 by midnight tomorrow. It's ambitious, but it's what we need to raise to keep our ads live and overcome the dark money being spent by Mitch McConnell and his allies to boost Marco Rubio in these final weeks.
