Missouri Net News [link removed] Host a Day Camp in 2023
Interested in hosting a day camp? Through partnerships with Eagle Lake and Heartland Camps, NextGen Ministries helps you bring the excitement of camp to your church parking lot. By fusing the fun and excitement of water slides, gaga-ball, and other awesome outdoor activities along with intentional spirit-filled worship, Bible study, and one-on-one discipleship, day camping provides a unique experience and brings Christ to children that otherwise may never have had the opportunity. If your church is considering a day camp in 2023, and haven’t already signed up with one of our camping partners, take the time today to complete the easy interest form: [link removed] [link removed]
Free Implicit Bias Course Available
The Missouri Conference’s work in race and culture exists to help us become a place for people from diverse cultures and generations so that, ultimately, we become a Church for all God’s people. Part of that work is understanding our biases, specifically the unconscious bias we all experience. “Implicit Bias: What We Don't Think We Think” is a resource for leaders, preachers and congregations to learn about implicit bias and its effect on everyday life and ministry. Any Missouri Conference member – clergy or lay – can learn more and enroll for FREE at [link removed] [link removed]
