Merry Christmas, dear friends!

Here's a little foray into fiction - I wrote this a few years ago. I
hope you enjoy this post-apocalyptic Christmas story through the eyes of
a child.

I hope this day finds you surrounded by peace, love, and happiness. I
know that for many, the holidays can be very difficult. When you've lost
someone, when you're grieving, when you're alone, all you can see is
those whole, happy families in their matching pajamas.

It can be one of the hardest days of the year if you're in that
situation. For that, I'm so sorry. As a divorced parent, I know all too
well the horrible feelings of this. Remember, as awful as today might
feel, tomorrow will be better. Hang in there - this too shall pass and I
wish I could be there with you to share a meal and some good
conversation.

Please know that no matter what your situation this Christmas, you are
loved and appreciated by me every single day. Without you stopping by to
read articles and leave comments, my website would not exist. I thank
you all from the bottom of my heart. Your support and your kind words
make it all worthwhile. You are like extended family to me and I wish
you the best and the brightest this day and in the future.

I'm so grateful for each and every one of you.
Love,
Daisy
