There is still time to register for the 17th National Indian Nations Conference, scheduled for December 6?9, 2022, at the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians Reservation in Palm Springs, CA.
This conference will focus on the unique needs of American Indian and Alaska Native crime victims and provide training for victim service providers; law enforcement officials; prosecutors; judges; medical and mental health professionals; social workers; and victim advocates at the tribal, federal, state, and local levels. ?
The conference website has also been updated to include detailed descriptions for the breakout sessions. Sessions will cover topics such as restorative justice, telehealth healthcare responses, cultural resiliency and healing, and building advocacy capacity.
