Craig Swartz is an Ohio native and former Upper Sandusky City Councilmember running for U.S. Congress for Ohio’s 5th District. Ready to bring Ohio back to a better future, Craig is resolved to unseat Bob Latta and advocate for workers, women, the LGBTQ+ community, students, and everyday Ohioans.
Hey John,

Hard to believe it’s already October. It feels like summer went by in the blink of an eye. While we’ll miss the warm weather and county fairs, we’re excited Election Day is just around the corner.
Craig spoke with UAW members in Sheffield about the importance of unions in Ohio.
Craig joined Judge Tom Teodosio and Moms Demand Action’s Lorain County Lead Laura Irvin at a house party hosted by supporters in Oberlin.
On Labor Day, Team Swartz was busy! We made an appearance at Lorain Labor Fest at Black River Landing and spoke with a few labor organizations.
Craig even made friends with this rooster!
And, Craig caught up with these wonderful people running for all kinds of office in NW Ohio.
Later that day, Team Swartz and other Democratic candidates stopped by the opening of the Lorain County Democrats’ Headquarters!
Craig had the honor of helping open the Mercer County Democratic Headquarters.
Our dear friend Jeff Sites helped out Team Swartz at the Kalida Patriot Parade.
Craig even ran into Bob Latta. Once again, Latta didn’t have much to say and avoided any commitment to a debate with Craig.
Last, but certainly not least, was the Huron County Democrats’ Democracy Dinner in Norwalk. It was a pleasure speaking with United Rural Democrats’ President Joe Shepherd.

John, it was wonderful meeting with so many people from around OH-05. Our community is vibrant, compassionate, and ready for change.
