In two days, thousands of marchers will take to the streets in Washington, D.C., and communities in every state in a #WomensWave!
But when thousands of people end up in one place, there are some logistics we have to plan for.
A big one? 💩
While protesting for our fundamental human rights, we can’t forget about fundamental human needs! That’s why our Get Sh!t Done Fund (aka the Porta Potty Piggy Bank) has been a major focus of our fundraising efforts in the lead-up to the Women’s Wave.
Look, toilets aren’t exactly sexy, but they ARE essential infrastructure.
We’ve all been through it: You’re out and about, living your best life, and nature calls. Suddenly, you’re at the mercy of the general manager of the nearest coffee shop. Add hundreds of marchers who also need to go in the mix, and you’ve got a recipe for disaster.
We won’t leave any of our marchers hanging when they need to go!
