It’s hard to know where to begin, John. But this attack involves building a catapult and launching watermelons with Adam’s face on them. No, seriously.
Kash Patel, a former aide to Devin Nunes and chief of staff to Donald Trump’s Acting Secretary of Defense, wrote a children’s book titled The Plot Against the King — featuring characters such as “King Donald,” “Hillary Queenton,” and one particular “shifty knight.” Who, you guessed it, is supposed to be Adam Schiff.
Literally repackaging the Big Lie about the 2020 election into a children’s book to indoctrinate kids.
Then, over the weekend, this MAGA cultist hosted a children’s event to promote his new book — an event featuring a castle, a catapult, and watermelons adorned with, you guessed it, Adam’s likeness. See for yourself:
The MAGA guests then launched the “watermelon heads” towards the castle (which, by the way is what they did during the Medieval Ages with real heads):
John, hasn’t this all gotten totally out of hand? The hero worship of Trump, elevating him from above the presidency to a monarch, is one thing.
Launching literal depictions of Adam’s decapitated head towards castles? It’s sick, and it’s wrong, and if it encourages violence, they just don’t give a damn. Look at what Trump said of Mitch McConnell this week, the incitement to violence is real.
But the more Trump’s supporters praise him and attack his enemies, the greater their financial rewards in MAGA world, their status, and their platform in media.
It’s a cult of personality. And it must be stopped.
