Happy holidays from IISD!

We are keeping this edition of our newsletter short and sweet; there will be many exciting developments and announcements in 2020, but for the next couple of weeks, we think it's best to slow down and take a deep breath.

If you're looking for reading material that has nothing to do with policy frameworks, carbon markets or adaptation planning processes, check out our blog post ([link removed]) about how creative types are responding to the climate crisis with everything from Greta-inspired ice sculptures to sombre laser beams.

If you've already forgotten what Article 6 is, our expert Jennifer Allan has explained it to an audience of children right here ([link removed]) . We've also got some straight talk ([link removed]) on what did (and didn't) happen at COP 25 in Madrid.

Wherever you are, we hope you're enjoying the last few days of the decade and setting big, sustainable goals for the next ten years.

Thank you for supporting our work. We'll see you in 2020.
